Facial Gels and Masks for Non-Invasive Wrinkle Treatment

Looking for an Anti-wrinkle treatment for puffy bags under the eyes? We’ve got it! Frownies Eye Gels contain powerful antioxidants that help protect your skin. With just one 15-30-minute treatment 100% of women testing Frownies Eye Gels saw a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and dark circles

Frownies biometric membrane carrier patch used in our Eye Gels, Full Face Mask and Neck Mask, stores powerful nourishing and moistening extracts. The transdermal system, allows for deep penetration of the skin, to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and tone the under eye area.

As your skin ages, it may look dull and become susceptible to irritation, redness and fine lines. Ingredients in the Transdermal patches are designed to support aging skin with an additional treatment like given at a spa. With aging, your skin may also get rough and dry and less absorbent of ingredients– but using glycerin regularly can make your skin smooth by filling in tiny cracks and prevent other problems associated with dryness. Humectants in glycerin attract water from the environment and keep water in your skin. Glycerin minimizes water loss due to evaporation and maintains skin’s water balance on an intercellular level– so keeps skin well hydrated and nourished. Alone glycerin is sticky but in the mask it can help super hydrate.

Because of its skin nourishing properties glycerins regular use will help keep your skin healthy, soft and fresh. It is especially great to use in the winter time to help combat winter dryness. Glycerin supports the formulation of the masks and is a key ingredient.

Strictly speaking, using succulents in skin treatments is not a new thing—indigenous people have been utilizing succulent plants for centuries. Chances are you’ve been told to apply Aloe on a sunburn at least once in your life. Aloe is the number one skin hydrator and promotes healing better than an new ingredient.

Sodium alginate is extracted from mineral-rich brown seaweed. This fine white powder transforms into jelly when put in contact with water, creating a unique all natural texture for holding the other skin care ingredients—helping to absorb and smooth skin.

Sodium hyaluronate is powerful stuff. This gel-like water-holding molecule is a moisture-binding ingredient that helps keep skin plump and hydrated. And, it’s actually something our bodies naturally produce. Sodium hyaluronate sometimes called Hyaluronic Acid helps retain over 1,000 times its weight in water within the cells of skin, making it an excellent moisturizer.

Scientific studies have shown that Hyaluronic Acid improve hydration and production of collagen, fight free radicals, maintain skin elasticity, and even has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help with healing wounds.

Sodium PCA is the sodium salt of pyroglutamic acid which is a common amino acid found naturally in many proteins. pH balance of 6.8-7.4, occurs naturally in human skin and is responsible for binding moisture to cells. Highly water-absorbent, holding several times its weight in water, making it an excellent humectant (moisture preserver). Know as The Skin-Penetration Enhancer—Sodium PCA is a naturally stronger hydrating agent, often way more so than other common compounds.

Niacinamide also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinic acid, niacinamide is one very effective skin-restoring ingredient that offers multiple benefits for maturing skin including increased circulation.

We use phenoxyethanol in a very low concentration as a preservative because the most accessible alternatives for these types of formulas include parabens and formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. Phenoxyethanol is very safe at low levels. It’s been tested on the skin and eyes and it is non-irritating and non-sensitizing at levels of 2.2% or lower while being effective at only 1% concentrations. The European Union and Japan both approve its use up to that 1% level and our formulas fall well below the recommendation. Also phenoxyethanol doesn’t react with other ingredients, air, or light. This kind of stability makes it an especially effective preservative.

Ethylhexylglycerin serves as a surfactant and preservative enhancer and acts as a safe preservative in minute amounts. It’s a proven preservative-enhancer and is often used instead of controversial parabens.

You can count on Frownies quality natural ingredients to help enhance the appearance of the under eye area of the face.

Why Trans-dermal Patches Help

The weight of the patch smooths the underlying area and protects the integrity of the acid mantle (your skin's protective layer). Frownies gel masks promote smooth skin that looks more even toned and provide antioxidants to fight free radical damage! The mask laying on the skin helps penetrate the ingredients deeper in to the various layers of the skin.No more than 30 minutes is needed but you can try less and see results.

How to Use

Use your first set of Eye Gels three nights in a row, and then use them once a week for best results. The combination of Frownies  Eye Gel Patch,Skin Serum at night and Eye Cream during the day will help improve the appearance of fine lines, dark spots and discoloration under the eyes as well as tone the area. Neck and Face Mask may be used as often as you like for the extra trans-dermal treatment and reused as well.

*Keep Gels moist with Frownies Rose Water between usages

 How to apply Trans-dermal Patches

  1. Remove the patch tray from the foil packet. The Face Mask has two sections and the Eye Gels have two pieces. The larger Mask may be slippery so take care not to drop it. On clean skin get everything ready then apply and lay back to relax.
  2. Apply one patch to one eye area adjusting it to cover the area being treated.
  3. Once on the skin gently smooth out all the lines under the patch with the pad of your finger over top of each patch, this is so the patch’s active ingredients affect all the areas of the skin. If there are any deeper creases press the ingredients into the area.
  4. Leave on for 15-30 minutes.
  5. You may use the Eye Gels as a collagen treatment patch on the eyelid or around the mouth and lip area as well.
  6. The Gel is very rich and your first application will require you rest your head back to keep the patch from slipping down your face.  As you reuse the patch it will stick more to the face.  The amount of gel allows you to reuse this patch multiple time.

How To Store

Gently remove the patch and place back in the patch tray. Re-wet the patch in the tray with Frownies Rose Water Toner Hydrator to extend the life of the patch, place it in a sealed plastic bag and put in the refrigerator to use again. The patch starts to dry and become brittle because the ingredients are the patch, and they are being applied to the skin. Re-wet the patch with Rose Water Hydrator between applications to keep it active for as many uses as you can before it dissolves.
