The Frownies Starter Kit is a simple, intentional nightly routine designed to support smoother-looking skin with consistent use. At the heart of the routine are Frownies Facial Patches, our original wrinkle patch, trusted for over 135 years.

Frownies Facial Patches are cosmetic patches designed to gently hold the skin in place while you sleep or during extended wear. When used regularly, they help reinforce a smoother-looking appearance by supporting a consistent skincare habit.

This kit is the place to begin. No complicated steps. No invasive treatments. Just a routine you can return to night after night.

HOW TO USE

  1. Gently separate Frownies® Facial Patches by tearing or cutting along the perforations.
  2. Cleanse your face and apply your skincare. If using a moisturizer, allow it to fully absorb into your skin before proceeding. Note: Frownies Face and Neck Moisturizer is recommended but not required. It is formulated for quick absorption and pairs perfectly with Frownies Facial Patches.
  3. Moisten the shiny side of the Frownies with warm water or our Rose Water Hydrator or Calming Toner. We recommend wetting all of the Frownies that you plan to use at once, then waiting for them to become tacky, up to 90 seconds.
  4. Once the patches are tacky and begin to curl, gently spread and hold the skin smooth while applying the Frownies across the entire forehead, overlapping them to create a cast over the entire muscle.
  5. For best results, wear the Frownies overnight or for a minimum of 3 hours. Continue using them daily until you achieve the desired results. Full skin cell turnover may take up to 12 weeks.
  6. To remove, thoroughly soak the patches with warm water to dissolve the adhesive. Then gently slide your fingers under the patches to lift them off your skin.

Maintenance Tip: After achieving your desired results, maintain your smooth skin by using Frownies as needed. A good practice is to check for lines in the mirror each night and apply Frownies if lines are visible.

  1. prep the patch
    tear frownies into individual patches, wet the shiny sides with rose water or warm water, and wait briefly until tacky.
  2. smooth and stick
    hold the skin smooth as you press your frownies onto clean, dry skin, overlapping multiple frownies to fully cover the target area.
  3. wear overnight
    leave frownies on for at least 3+ hours or overnight to hold skin smooth and relaxed while you sleep.
  4. remove and repeat
    in the morning, dampen to remove gently; use nightly for deep lines, then as needed to maintain results.
